2018 Diamond Guild Australia Jewellery Awards


It was a true honour to have the opportunity to coordinate the prestigious 2018 Diamond Guild Australia Jewellery Awards in Melbourne this week.

Held at the extraordinary Aerial at South Wharf, PMC had the pleasure of arranging the gala event to honour the pinnacle of Australian jewellery design.

TV presenter Jessica Rowe was the spectacular master of ceremonies for the evening, bringing her trademark energy to the night of decadence and diamonds. The 2018 VIP judges including actress April Rose Pengilly, esteemed interior designer Greg Natale, Brandon Gien of Good Design Australia and jeweller John Calleija were present to honour this year’s spectacular cohort.

The event celebrated the best of Australian Jewellery Design, praising the outstanding efforts of the finalists and winners of the biennial design competition. With a focus on innovation and creativity, the Diamond Guild Awards focuses on Australian designers taking exemplary, unique and modern approaches to jewellery design. The winners were divided into six different categories, which were Solitaire, Fancy Colour, Diamonds for Everyday, Diamonds for Men, Red Carpet and Emerging Talent.

To set the lavish tone for the evening, Fleur Events partnered with the Guild to provide the incredible floral displays in a chic blue, indigo and white colour palette. Guests were treated to canapés on arrival and a delicious two-course meal after a catwalk by Neon Models showcasing the finalists’ jewellery.

Guests included Laurina Fleure, Athena X of Real Housewives of Sydney and Aleksandra Sekuloska from this year’s series of the Bachelor.

Congratulations to all of the sincerely talented winners, it was a true privilege to be a part of an event that awards astounding Australian talent.
