Platinum celebrates Cupcake Day

On August 15 the PMC office was a haven of temptation thanks to the delivery of two large boxes of sweet morsels from Cupcakes on Pitt. This wasn’t a calculated morale-boosting feat (though a cupcake or two does make for increased productivity) but rather, a celebration of one of the best days on the Aussie calendar, National Cupcake Day.

Apart from just being a celebration of a delicious dessert, Cupcake day has also been adopted by the RSPCA to promote its fundraising efforts, centred on irresistible baked goods for animals in need.

The sugar rush may be over but it’s certainly not too late to donate, and treat yourself with a cupcake too!
