Pantone announces spring 2017 colours
If you thought the kale craze was on the way out then think again! Kale, or at least the colour of it, will be all over interiors, fashion and beauty products next year according to Pantone’s latest spring colour predictions.
Amongst the selections are a number of rather muted, natural tones including Hazelnut, Greenery, Pale Dogwood, Island Paradise and Niagara.
If you’re a little dubious about Pantone’s predictions well then, let the evidence speak. Last year’s 2016 colour of the year predictions included Rose Quartz- a faded pastel pink, and Serenity – a baby blue with hints of purple. Both colours have dominated interiors, fashion runways and Instagram feeds.
Pantone’s 2017 colours of the year will be announced in December.
