Announcing Apollo Jackson as the face of Johnny Bigg’s Spring 2018 Collection

One of the many joys the agency experiences is seeing the growth and success of brands that we have had the privilege of a long term partnership and association with.

Having worked with the Johnny Bigg Fashion brand since its launch into the marketplace in 2014, we have overseen and implemented a seasonal ambassador program that allowed us to build a strong and powerful network of “Bigg” guys that have supported the brand with both Social Media and PR coverage.

As the brand celebrates national presence and is experiencing dramatic retail expansion, the agency was instrumental in the signing of Apollo Jackson as a Friend of the brand initially, and more recently the first personality face of the Big and Tall Menswear Brand.

Apollo is best known for gracing our screens in the Bachelorette franchise alongside Sophie Monk in 2017, quickly becoming a favourite amongst the public due to his sensitivity, charming personality and flair for magic. He also revisited his public search for love more recently in the 2018 season of Bachelor in Paradise.

As Apollo is now pursuing his passion in the areas of music, fitness and fashion, the agency felt the time was right to encourage an exciting partnership with Johnny Bigg to showcase the brand’s on-trend Spring 2018 collection.

A key reason for the appointment of Apollo was to showcase the diversity of body shapes that Johnny Bigg caters to, and to importantly increase awareness of the brand to a broader customer base. Given the national retail footprint of the brand it made sense to partner with a national TV identity whom reflected the fashionable, stylish design led values that the brand upholds.

The campaign developed with Apollo consisted of significant content, which is to be used nationally for retail and point of sale presence, as well as that of catalogue and range books, website, social media and database marketing programs and a selection of video content to bring to life the various locations, looks and trends from the brand, not to mention a collaboration across Apollo’s powerful social media channels.
